Andre R. Nunn, M.D.

 

A native of Michigan, Dr. Nunn attended medical school at the University of Alabama, followed by internships and a residency in general surgery at Marshall University School of Medicine in West Virginia.  He is board certified by the American College of Surgeons.

 

After returning to Michigan, Dr. Nunn established a private practice in Ypsilanti and has added a second location in Bingham Farms.  He has been an early adopter of minimally invasive weight management procedures, including the Lap-Band®, and he is one of the physicians to complete early certification in gastric balloon procedures.  Designed as a six-month intervention, the gastric balloon is emplaced comfortably in a quick procedure with no downtime.  Dr. Nunn supports his patients seeking sustainable weight loss and improved overall health with in-practice nutritional and exercise counseling capabilities.
